Planning Your Ceremony
Your wedding day is all about you and the special people you choose to share it with.
The ceremonies I write are bespoke and personal to you. I don't edit a standardised template. I want to get to know you, your personalities and the stories of how you met, what happened next, the proposals, anniversaries and all the funny anecdotes in between.
From vows, readings, symbolic rituals and communicating with planners, venues and anyone taking part, my aim is to create ceremonies which will be enjoyed and remembered by you and your guests alike.
Contact me either by using the contact form, email or phone to arrange an initial, complimentary, no obligation meeting.
We can get to know each other and you can decide whether I am the celebrant for you. We can also discuss your plans and ideas and the content of your vows.
Please be aware that I am celebrant not a registrar. For your marriage to be legally recognised you will need to have a separate service within a registry office or approved venue and although the legal part almost becomes secondary, it is necessary. Once completed you will have the opportunity to make your own commitment vows to each other in a venue of your choosing and with the people you love as your witnesses.
You will receive a professional and conscientious service. I will respect your wishes and beliefs and I will honour your commitment and intent with equal integrity. You will receive a dedicated, sincere approach to a very special day in your lives.
Readings and Poems
You will probably want to add some poignant and meaningful readings to your ceremony. They can be religious, secular or a mixture of both. I can help you choose some lovely readings that will reflect your love for each other.
They can be read by anyone - a member of your wedding party or you. For a comprehensive list of some Readings and Poems please click here
