Simply put, a vow renewal is a way to celebrate your marriage and you want the world to know that you would do it all over again in a heartbeat.
Maybe you want to reaffirm your commitment to each other after twenty five, thirty or even fifty years of marriage. Or you may have been through some difficult times together and would like to reaffirm and celebrate your love. There are some who may be cynical about the necessity of a vow renewal ceremony, but don’t let this put you off. Most couples choose to hire a celebrant for their vow renewal ceremony, to make the occasion more formal. During the ceremony you could repeat the marriage vows you made to each other at your wedding, or you could opt to make new ones if you’re renewing vows many years later. The choice is yours to make it religious, non-religious or just spiritual.
